This latest episode has been dogged by a lot of folks. A lot of people were disappointed with the lack of follow-up from the previous episode. Look, guys, the season just started. Nobody important is gonna get whacked or anything for a while still. Just chill. And for anyone who said this episode was meaningless....pull your head out.

This is the episode that I've been waiting for. Ever since The Sopranos hit the air waves in 1999 it's been panned by all kinds of Anti-Italian Defamation organizations. People complaining about how the show misrepresents Italian culture. I want to tell you this....as an Italian man, I've never seen Italian living portrayed as true as I've seen it in this show. And I, personally, don't think the "mafia" label is a bad one to be wearing. People fear the mob. People have had a certain respect for it since the Godfather. Whether there's an actual mob influence in your life or not, as an Italian you have that option to play that "mob" card. And ople are excited by it. It's fascinating. Don't be ashamed of it...also, don't deny it. We all know that there's an Italian mob. There's also an Irish mob....let's be thankful that the masses found the

Italian mob more interesting. :) There's my political statement of the day.

This episode was a jab at all those Anti-Italian Defamation organizations. It's something that made me laugh watching it because it made fun of the people protesting the show but in a smart way. Not as outright and obvious as Kevin Smith beating up people who hate his movies in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but along the same lines. Summed up PERFECTLY by Tony in what had to be one of the more honest scenes in the entire series. As the boys are driving back from the Indian casino, Tony basically says to Silvio...."What's the big fucking deal!?" You gotta pick your fights...don't fight a battle you can't win. And that's the basic point. But this is actually about the most trivial point of the whole showLet's take a look at some of the more important developments.

The first thing that leaps to mind, Janice and Ralphie. WHAT THE FUCK WAS UP WITH THE VIBRATOR IN RALPHIE'S ASS!? Not just that but the dirty talk between them. I was shocked at first and then broke out into a laughing fit. It was too much. Janice is a freakin' piece of work. Those scenes with her and that counselor/therapist of hers were blowing me away. She's living a complete deviant and careless lifestyle and then she's going to her therapist and turning it all around on the other people in her life. Man, that therapist thinks she's a fucking saint. Don't get me wrong, I got no love for Ralphie but when he chooses to be with Janice and moves his stuff in and gets tossed down the steps, I felt sorry for him. I mean, I've seen Italian women get all psycho like that. It's not fun!! Knowing Ralphie, he's gonna want to get back at Janice and now Janice is gonna look to Tony to take care of her mess....again. Will he?r will he throw the fact that it's "None of your business anyway, Tony" back in her face? Ralphie's a mean and dirty fuck, I'd be scared for my life if I were Janice. Tony may not come to your rescue this time.

Paulie is just burrowing up Johnny Sack's ass. Starting shit about the joke about Johnny's wife and shit. I have a feeling this is the last season we're gonna be seeing Paulie. He's flat out betraying Tony. But if Paulie goes, what's gonna happen to Silvio? Silvio seems to be taking quite a few liberties lately. He used to be pretty calm and level headed....now he's making some personal judgment calls. Are Paulie and Silvio trying to screw Tony? I think Sil will still be around for the next season. But Paulie is gonna be either gone or in the protection of Johnny Sack...and that's a dangerous place for Tony to have him. I don't think T will let it come to that. But for the time being, we'll be seeing a breakdown between Tony and Johnny Sack all because of Ralphie and Paie.

Carmella sure likes that Furio. oooohing and ahhhhing over his pictures of his house. It's a shame that I don't see anything for Carmella in Furio. I don't think he digs on her at all. Maybe he's not attracted or maybe he's just the most loyal person there is to Tony. Furio is from the old country and I think that respect still means much more to him. Unfortunately, I think Carmella will end up doing something drastic. She needs something to make her character a little more dynamic from what we've seen these past couple years. I liked this Bella Mafia thing we saw with her and the other wives. She's sooo the Bella Donna of the ladies. She has Silvio's wife in the priest's office chewing him out and such. I think Carmella has a bit more power than we've previously been shown. I don't think she quite realizes it yet. We're gonna see a reaching out for that power and maybe a bit more dynamic as things between her and Meadow heat up. Wouldn't it be fascinating if Carmella DID ve a thing with Furio and she became more involved or educated as to the details of the things Tony and his crew were doing? I mean, she knows he's a mobster....but she never knows all the ins and outs. What would happen at home if she knew about all the things that were talked about at Bada Bing?

Trial has started for Junior and he's concerned about legal costs. Bobby's wife passes away and Junior is calling about a ride to court. Junior is getting nowhere trying to be nice to Carmella. It seems that the world is against Junior. I thought that he might beat the rap but now I'm not sooo sure. Think of the SHIT that would hit the fan if Junior beat this and became more active in the family business again. I don't think the series has that kinda time. Junior is dying or going to jail. That's my prediction.....at least for this week. :) Everyone's against him....the only way he would prove useful is if he beat the case, came back and turned a new leaf since Tony helped him. But, m not sure that's too likely. Junior's days are probably numbered.

Big T is starting to get wound up. Can you see it? Sooo much shit going down at once. You know what that means. It means that someone is gonna get whacked, beaten or scared outta town. I think in the coming weeks, we're gonna see Tony with a shorter temper. A little darker. The wheels are turning in his head now and I'm scared to even think what might come of it. Ralphie, Janice, Meadow, Carmella, Junior, Silvio, Christopher...all these people are heavy on his mind and he's finding it harder to juggle them all. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony puts a scare into our favorite assemblyman for not helping him out on Columbus day and just to release a bit of tension.

Some odds and ends about this episode.

A.J. just bothers the shit out of me.

Father First Season came back!! It was nice to see him again.

Janice threw Ralphie down the stairs and then ran from him like he just punched her inhe face. (Cue Psycho music)

Carmella talking about how so and so was just acting like a friend when it came to Furio and how it hit Adrianna. I feel bad for this poor girl. I'd hate to see her off herself to get out of all this.

Speaking of Adrianna.....give it up for showing her at the gym! YAY! God, she's just yummy!

What are your thoughts? (Not about Adrianna...but about the show or my thoughts. Or....well....you can tell me about Adrianna too)
