Just finished watching this last week's installment of The Sopranos and I think I can speak for everyone when I say that it's nice that we're finally seeing some forward momentum again. We're seeing Tony in a very fragile state of mind again when he realizes that an old flame has killed herself.

Catholic guilt + Italian guilt = Mad Emotional Strife

Catholic guilt + Italian guilt + Suicide = Unthinkable Self Doubt and Torture

So, Tony already has that on his plate. Christopher and Adrianna start off the show with about the funniest shot in Sopranos history. Those two were sooo fucked up, it almost made me jealous. Tony seems to be sure of Christopher taking over as the front man of the family. I wonder if that opinion will change if they find out that Adrianna's working with the feds. We've already discussed Tony and the suicide. Does anyone think that maybe there was some incriminating evidence left on the suicide note? Things that make ya go "Hmmmmmmmm".

AJ is trying to be Mr. Mafia Bad Boy. It doesn't work all that well when the chick you're trying to impress is better off than you are. But damn, she was a cutie. GO AJ!! Yet....I still think AJ needs to get whacked. He annoys me. However, watching AJ and his girlfriend tromp all over town looking for a place to get it on strikes almost too close to home. Do I know that boy's pain. I wasn't exactly a ladies man. When I finally moved out on my own the first time, I had maybe 2 girls in my bed. Yet, when I moved out, I was still a virgin. We won't get into the psychological details but let's just say I was very paranoid about sex. I moved back in with the family and, suddenly, I was getting all kinds of attention. This time I was ready and I couldn't find a place to do it!! And then God said "Let there be Best Western!" Let's just say that, unfortunately, I didn't know what I was missing at first....but as soon as I started, I was like AJ runnin' around trying to find a place that I could have privacy. Was that a little too much info? Well, life has it's little bonuses.

(On a side note...I have my own place again and the trim factor has dropped again. I think there's something about me having the time and place. I guess I subconciously want a challenge. Then again, I got some free stays at the Adolphus.....hmmmmm)

Back to The Sopranos. Artie Buco!!! This poor helpless sap. I love Artie just because he tries soooo damn hard. But, unless he's cooking, everything he touches turns to shit. He's trying to play Mr. Loan Shark now. But it looks like the folks you gave money to, don't wanna pay you back. He asks Tony for help....Tony says "Deal with it." So, Artie decides to go claim his cash. Watching him practice in his mirror was side splitting.....but damn, he looked sooo much like a bald DeNiro it was scary. He went to go see a man about some money and he choked.

Mafia Rule #6:
You: Where's my money?
Them: I don't have it. I'm sooo sorry.
You: Where is it?
Them: That's what I'm trying to tell you. You see....
You bitch slap or pistol whip 'em and kick them in the nuts till they bleed.

Artie almost had the eye of the Tiger but he gave the French guy too much time to compose himself. In that small amount of time, the guy was able to read Artie and figure out "Hey, this mother fucker ain't gonna do a damn thing." You see the subtle power shift in that scene and it's masterful. However, when Furio came a knockin' the next day, I think the outcome was a bit different.

A few minor points. Damn, Carmella looked jealous as all get out when she was watching Furio with his new squeeze at dinner. Could she have made it any more obvious? But Tony seems to be settling back down nicely. I think we should be proud of him. He's beena good boy. He had to be to nab that HOT HOT HOT HOT and TOPLESS and HOT and TOPLESS and TOPLESS and HOT blonde that he was rolling around with. Oh my GOD. She was sooo freakin' sexy that it hurt like a punch in the gut. I salute you Tony.......and so does my lower half. hehehehehe

A little character statements....

Janice: Not much from her this week. Thank GOD!! I've had my fill for the time being. She seems to be digging in nice and deep to Bobby and the family life. Maybe all of this will have some kind of effect on her. Then again, Cheetahs can't change their spots....or can they?

Meadow: Look at her doing her service to the community. She's everything that a mobster's daughter should NOT be. However, she seems to be doing a lot better. No more psycho Meadow. I think she's finding her pace. Maybe a bit.

Nothing from Sil or Paulie this week. I've started to kinda group these two together because if one gets it...I think the other is close behind.

Uncle Junior's on trial.....but we didn't get to see anything about that this week.

Carmella: Her papers are signed and Tony's braggin' about her. Do you think she's over her Furio crush or has it only just begun. I hear that women always want what they can't have. Now that he's "taken" will she try even harder?

AJ: Boy needs to get him some. Then whack him.

Christopher and Adrianna: The preview says something about them being engaged. Sure would be nice to see that....but don't shows just always jump the shark when they have a wedding? That's why I don't think it's gonna happen. My prediction....Christopher is gonna be left at the altar. I think Adrianna loves him too much to allow herself to get that close to the family. I may be wrong. She may have asked HIM to marry her so she can get even more info....but who the hell believes that?

Tony: I think he's done with his guilt. He's a good man with a good heart. Looking out for his friend...and his own reputation. Again, Artie Buco has put him in a rough spot. Every time this happens, we see a bit of a rift between them. I don't think we'll see too much Artie for a while. I'm unsure as to where Tony's going next but the preview is showing that Paulie's about to be out of the slammer. And if Tony finds out that Paulie's workin' for the guys across the bridge, there's gonna be a war.

TOPLESS HOT BLONDE: She needs to come back. I found her role compelling.

I'm sorry I'm sooo tired. That's the best I could do for now. If you don't mind...I'm gonna go shut down my brain and look at porn now. hehehehehe
